Building with Hempcrete part 1

  • 41 Svadbergvegen Årdal i Ryfylke, Rogaland, 4137 Norway (map)

Why Hempcrete

Hempcrete is a natural building material made from hemp, lime, and water. It stores CO₂, creates a healthy indoor climate, and is fire-, mold-, and pest-resistant.
By combining Europe’s centuries-old traditions with modern prefabrication, GrindHeim makes hempcrete scalable: panels and modules are produced off-site, then quickly assembled on-site, reducing waste, costs, and building time. Sustainable, healthy, and future-proof.

Basic Description:

  • Stores CO₂ instead of emitting it

  • Regulates indoor climate naturally

  • Fire- and pest-resistant

  • Renewable, biodegradable, circular, and versatile.
